January 22, 2014

Below is my prophetic word for 2014.   The Lord actually gave me this word in late December of 2013.  I recently shared it at my meeting for Awake The Bride Ministries last Tuesday, January 14, 2014.  I pray that it is a blessing to all who read it.

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish and five were wise.  The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.  The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.”

 Matthew 25: 1-4.

I heard the Lord say, referring to His Bride, that “2014 is a year in which her lamp shall be lit.  And with the lighting of the flame, she shall never be the same.  A passion shall be ignited in her heart, a passion that shall not go away.  O hear what I say, O hear, what I say.”  Like the Shulammite in Song of Solomon, there will be a searching and seeking after the Lord in 2014 like not before in the Body of Christ.  There will be a spiritual hunger for Him like not before.  And although we will commune deeply with Him, we will hunger for more.

“When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground.  She fell at his feet and said, ‘My lord, let the blame be on me alone.  Please let your servant speak to you; hear what your servant has to say.  May my lord pay no attention to that wicked man Nabal.  He is just like his name – his name is Fool, and folly goes with him. . . .’”

I Samuel 25: 23-25.

“My Abigails will rise in this hour.  They will be those who know how to speak to the King.  For Abigail knew how to speak to David, the king.  Abigails will rise in this hour who know how to speak to Me.  And although they may have been previously married to foolish things, they shall now be married to Me.”

“Then David sent word to Abigail, asking her to become his wife.  His servants went to Carmel and said to Abigail, ‘David has sent us to you to take you to become his wife.’  She bowed down with her face to the ground and said, ‘Here is your maidservant, ready to serve you and wash the feet of my master’s servants.’  Abigail quickly got on a donkey and, attended by her five maids, went with David’s messengers and became his wife.”

I Samuel 25: 39-42.

This will be a year where it will be important to know how to properly speak to and interact with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.

“Moses said to the Lord, ‘O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant.  I am slow of speech and tongue.’  The Lord said to him, ‘Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind?  Is it not I, the Lord?  Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.’”

Exodus 4: 10-12.
I heard the Lord say that “those who previously stuttered, or could not speak, will now speak and lead.”   Just like Moses, they will speak and lead.   The Lord in this hour is not looking for the eloquent, but for the faithful.  He is also looking for a company of people that will be true to Him, who will say, what He says to say, and do what He says to do, when He says to say it, and do it when He says to do it.  You may feel unqualified by man’s standards, but in God’s eyes you may be highly qualified.  Always remember, that God’s qualifications and man’s are not necessarily one and the same.
“Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life, ‘Go away with your family and stay for a while wherever you can, because the Lord has decreed a famine in the land that will last seven years.’  The woman proceeded to do as the man of God said.  She and her family went away and stayed in the land of the Philistines seven years.  At the end of the seven years she came back from the land of the Philistines and went to the king to beg for her house and land.  The king was talking to Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, and had said, ‘Tell me about all the great things Elisha has done.’  Just as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life came to beg the king for her house and land  Gehazi said, ‘This is the woman, my lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.’ The king asked the woman about it, and she told him.  Then he assigned an official to her case and said to him, ‘Give back everything that belonged to her, including all the income from her land from the day she left the country until now.’.”

II Kings 8: 1-6.

I heard the Lord say, that “those that have had things taken away from them will be restored.  For restitution will need to be made.”  The Lord will require that restitution be made to them, just as the king required that restitution be made to the Shunnamite woman.  I note also that the Shunnamite woman was given full remedy.   Things were not just partially restored to her, but full restoration and restitution was made to her.  Similarly, this is a year of full restoration and restitution in the Body of Christ for those who have been faithful to Him.

“And this is how she would go to the king:  Anything she wanted was given to her to take with her from the harem to the king’s palace.  In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the concubines.  She would not return to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name.  When the turn came for Esther(the girl Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch was in charge of the harem, suggested.  And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her.  She was taken to King Xertes in the royal residence in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.  Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins.  So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. “

Esther 2:13-17.

“This is a year, says the Lord, where My Bride will please Me more than any other.  She will have eyes and ears only for Me.  This is also a year where you will begin to see a division between the Bride and the Church.”

“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a
scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.”

Psalm 45: 6.
While praying, I had a vision where I saw the Lord Jesus dressed in his royal robes.  He was dressed in pure white.  I also saw royal blue and purple velvet robes over the white.  His robes were long and flowing.  I was awestruck by His royalty.  I saw Him walking through a great hall.  A crown was on his head, not the crown of thorns, but a beautiful gold crown.  His crown glistened.  He had something in his hand.  It looked like a piece of parchment.  He nailed it to the wall.  Although I did not see exactly what was written on the paper, I knew in my spirit that it was a paper informing Heaven and those on earth that His Court would be convening.  He then said, “I will come a courting in 2014.   I will hold Court.  Tell My People, that I will hear their petitions, that they are to bring forth their petitions to Me.   For others, I have heard their prayers and petitions, and I will render justice.   I will render justice in this hour.”  This then is truly a year of the King and His Court.  For Jesus is coming to court His Bride, and He is also coming to convene  His  Court in this hour.
“But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted.  She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.  Barak came by in pursuit of Sisera, and Jael went out to meet him, ‘Come,’ she said, ‘I will show you the man you’re looking for.’  So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera with the tent peg through his temple – dead.”

Judges 4: 21-22.

“This is a year of the rising of My fearless women.  My women will do what some of My men cannot do.  There are also women who will receive strong anointings in the Spirit this year.  In some cases, they were not my first choice.  But to those who prove themselves faithful and obedient to Me, shall receive.  Let My fearless women arise in this hour.”
“’For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible.  See, I have told you ahead of time.’

Matthew 24:24-25.

“Test everything.  Hold on to the good.  Avoid every kind of evil.”

I Thessalonians 5: 21-22.

As I was praying, I felt the Lord’s deep concern over many of His children not properly discerning between what is false and what is true, what is genuine and what is not. The Lord is looking this year for greater discernment within His Body.   And He will give greater discernment to His children this year.  We need only to ask.  And we should ask daily.   I felt also his deep, longing desire that His children come to Him and cultivate such an intimate relationship and fellowship with Him that they will have such a relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit that they will know, and know that they know, what is true from what is false, and what is genuine and from the Lord and what is not.  And no one, including any false prophet, will be able to deceive them.
“When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords.”

Judges 7:22.

The Lord in this hour is raising up a great army like that of Gideon’s three hundred men.  This army will be under the direction and control of the Lord and will prevail over the forces of darkness.  The Lord in this hour is releasing strategies in the Spirit and of the Spirit to defeat the enemy, who has already been vanquished at the cross, and greater understanding of the weapons of our warfare and their utilization.

“Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.’”

Luke 17: 20-21.

This will be a year when many will realize that the Kingdom of God lives within them.  They will begin to understand the true meaning of the Kingdom.  They will begin to become “Kingdom –minded.”  This will also be a year where we will see things from the Father’s point of view and not our own.

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.  Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.”

Psalm 51:1-2.

I felt the Lord say that this would be a year “in which bloodlines would be cleansed.  The cleansing of bloodlines will be done by My Holy Spirit.  Generational iniquities and generational curses will be broken.   Generational blessings will be restored.”  Please pray and ask the Lord to cleanse your bloodline.  Ask Him if there are any areas regarding your bloodline that you need to repent.  The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you in this area.  He is eager to do this holy work.

I felt the Lord say that this would be a year where Christians would begin to assert their rights and to have a voice.  I believe that many in the days ahead will be called to make a stand for Christ.  I am not sure when or how this will take place, but I believe the Lord is preparing many now to do what they will need to do for Him in the coming days.
There are other things also that the Lord has showed to me.  Some I am led to mention here; others I am led to keep in personal intercessory prayer until the Lord releases me to share them.  I saw riots in the streets of major cities in America.  These riots were over food and the denial of human services and subsidies by the government.  Many governments all over the earth will become unstable.  I saw demonstrations in many nations and altercations between the police of those nations and the demonstrators.  I saw an increase in demonic activity in the world, but also a corresponding increase in the power and authority of Christians for breakthrough and deliverance.  I felt the Lord say that this is not a time to fear or to have fear, but “to know Him, love Him, honor Him, obey Him, and serve Him, fully and completely.”  He will do the rest.  It is not a time to trust in the world systems or world governments, but instead to trust totally in Him.  He has promised to never leave us or forsake us.  He will be with us.   I wish all reading this a truly blessed New Year in Him.

Below is a prophetic poem about the Bride of Christ that the Lord gave to me.   I do not feel that this poem needs any long explanation from me.  It truly speaks for itself.  The Lord is telling us that His Church needs to grow up in this hour, and that He is indeed purifying His Bride now, and will continue to do so in the days to come.  For all who accept His invitation to drink from His cup and to sup at His table, they shall be His Bride .  They shall be adorned with purity, with power, and with great authority.  And truly, they shall be “whitest of white, and purest of pure.”   For He is their Lord, and He shall make them so.   May all who read this be found as His Bride.

Healing and grace
Healing and grace
And white lace
Whitest of white, and purest of pure
For I am the Lord
And I am purifying My Bride
Oh, won’t you come and abide?

Abide in My Presence
And drink from My cup
And sup
And sup on My heavenly fare
For My table is not bare
But full with delight
And My food shall increase your sight

For I am fitting My Bride in this hour
And the enemy shall cower
For I am adorning her with power
And My authority
And all shall see her purity
All shall see her purity

My Bride will be a wise virgin
She will not run out of oil
Nor will she be found lacking in any way
I decree this, this day
She will have ears to hear what My Spirit says
And eyes to obey
And eyes to obey

And her gown shall not be found with dirt
For she will not flirt with any of the enemy’s schemes
For the foundation of her house shall be built with My beams
The whitest of white
And the purest of pure
For I am her Lord
I am her Lord

And My Church shall begin to see who is boss
And what it means to bear My cross
And persecution shall come
Indeed, it is on its way
And My Church shall no longer play
For it is time to grow up in Me
And be
The Bride in this hour
For I am your strong tower
I am your strong tower

To get off of milk
And onto solid food
I permit this for My Church’s good
Those that know Me I shall be with them
And they shall touch the hem
The hem of My garment and receive all that they need
And their wounds shall no longer bleed

The whitest of white and purest of pure
Oh, how shall you please your Lord
For I shall exact and require much in this hour
Be sweet and not sour
Be sweet and not sour
For My Holy Spirit shall be so in control
You will do all He says
Exactly as He tells
And My ancient wells
My ancient wells
Shall open to overflow
Let it be so
Let it be so

“Just Be”
In a recent time of prayer, I was seeking the Lord for direction and guidance.  I was asking Him for the next specific thing that He wished me to do in regard to an area of my life.  As I did so, I heard him say, “Just be and let Me bless you.  The rest will happen from there.”  I feel that this word may not be just for me but for others as well.  You may be seeking specific guidance and direction from the Lord.   But all that He really wants you to do at this time is to wait and “just be.”  “Just be in Him.”
He Will Open Doors that No One Can Shut
I also heard the Lord say, “Your time is coming and has now come, and nothing can stand in the way.  I will open doors for you that the enemy cannot shut.  Doors of grace, doors of influence, and doors of power and authority.  For I have much, much for you.  Much you cannot even think or fathom.  There are gifts and anointings within you that I have not yet unlocked, for I hold the key.  Some I have unlocked, but others you will soon discover. “  There are many reading this word that have been under attack from the enemy.  Please know, that the Lord is rallying His angelic forces around you.  You will prevail.  You will persevere.  You will overcome.  And when you do, there is nothing that can stand in your way from the destiny that the Lord has for you.  He, and only He, will open doors for you, not yourself and not any man.  These will be doors that no man nor the enemy can shut.
The “Now Words” of Isaiah 22:22 and Rev. 3:7-8
I believe that Isaiah 22:22 and Revelation 3:7-8 are “now words” for many people in the Body of Christ right now.

“I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

Isaiah 22:22

“These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David.  What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.  I know your deeds.  See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. . . . “

Revelation 3: 7-8

Doors of Grace, Influence, and Authority
For some of you, these will be doors of grace.  For others, these will be doors of influence in the community.  And for still others, these will be doors of power and great authority in Him.  There are also gifts and anointings that the Lord has placed within us that have yet to be unlocked.  They will be unlocked in His divine timing and with His key.  Get ready, for I believe that many in the Body are about to discover and be awakened to gifts and anointings in them by the Spirit that they did not know that they had.
“Seeds of Destiny” Planted Within You
There are also “seeds of destiny” that the Lord has planted within us long ago.    The Psalmist speaks of this in Psalm 139:
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb,
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully jade;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well,
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.

Psalm 139: 13-16

He has watered those seeds, and now they are beginning to sprout and come to fruition in our lives.
Books in Heaven Regarding Our Destiny Now Being Opened
There are also books in Heaven where our destiny is foretold.   For many, these books are now being opened, and the Lord is looking carefully at what has been written in His book regarding our destiny.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139: 16.

A Time of Supernatural Provision and No Lack
This is a time when we should not doubt what the Lord is saying to us, but instead a time in which we should praise His name for what He is doing and is about to do.  Doubting Him is actually a sin.  For not only is He propelling many into their divine destiny, in it will be a time of supernatural provision where there will be no lack.
“Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

2 Kings 4: 2

I tell you, in the days to come, the Spirit of God, will say that to you as well, “Tell me, what do  you have in your house?”  And just as He provided for that widow long ago, He will also provide for you.  There will be no lack for the people of God.
Cease Striving
This is also a time for us to “just be” and let God be truly God in our lives and to cease striving.  For He is washing away the strife in our lives.
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46: 10

Stay Obedient
The Lord continued, “Stay obedient.   Stay in the fear of your God.  Stay in the love of your God.  And watch, watch, what I will do.”   I believe that one of the greatest virtues that we can possess as a Christian, besides love, is that of obedience to the Lord.  For out of obedience, other virtues flow.  And if we truly love the Lord, we will obey Him.  It is not always easy to obey Him in the waiting, in the sitting before Him,  in the “just being,” but we must.  He invites us to watch what He will do.  For the Israelites He gave manna from Heaven and parted the Red Sea, what miraculous things await us who know Him, love Him, and serve Him?   He gave me this poem.  I have entitled it, “Just Be.”  I pray that it is a blessing to you and an encouragement in your walk with Him.

Just be
Just be and let Me
Do what I desire
Let Me burn within you with My holy fire
Let Me ignite you with My flame
For you will never, never be the same

Just be
Just be and let Me
Truly be God in your life
And there will be no more strife
For I will wash it away
On this day
On this day

Just be
Just be and let Me
Do the rest
For I decree, you are blessed
You are blessed
Blessed beyond measure
And I do bestow upon you My favor

Just be
Just be and let Me
For I am the One who waters the seed
That I have planted long ago
Oh, how it has and shall continue to grow

Just be
Just be and watch Me
Watch Me open doors that you cannot fathom
Doors that the enemy cannot shut
For what I decree
 You shall walk now through
Oh, do let it ensue

Just be
Just be and watch Me
And believe, for your destiny is about to unfold
For it has been foretold
And it is written in My book
To which I now look

Just be
Just be and do not doubt
But instead shout
And praise your Lord
For you, you are going forward
Forward into your destiny and not back
And there will be no lack
No lack

Just be
Just be and know
That I will do all that I have said
I am not a man that I should lie
But I say to you, rise
And take your place
And seek My face
For there you shall find
All that you seek
In kind
