“PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2014” –
“HE WILL COME A COURTING IN 2014”

Below is my
prophetic word for 2014. The Lord
actually gave me this word in late December of 2013. I recently shared it at my meeting for Awake
The Bride Ministries last Tuesday, January 14, 2014. I pray that it is a blessing to all who read
it.
I. A YEAR IN WHICH THE BRIDAL FLAME SHALL BE LIT
– A PASSION IN THE HEART OF HIS BRIDE SHALL BE IGNITED -
“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten
virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were
wise. The foolish ones took their lamps
but did not take any oil with them. The
wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.”
Matthew 25: 1-4.
I
heard the Lord say, referring to His Bride, that “2014 is a year in which her
lamp shall be lit. And with the lighting
of the flame, she shall never be the same.
A passion shall be ignited in her heart, a passion that shall not go
away. O hear what I say, O hear, what I
say.” Like the Shulammite in Song of
Solomon, there will be a searching and seeking after the Lord in 2014 like not
before in the Body of Christ. There will
be a spiritual hunger for Him like not before.
And although we will commune deeply with Him, we will hunger for
more.
II. A YEAR OF THE RISE OF THE ABIGAILS AND OF THE ABIGAIL
ANOINTING–
“When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her
donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground. She fell at his feet and said, ‘My lord, let
the blame be on me alone. Please let
your servant speak to you; hear what your servant has to say. May my lord pay no attention to that wicked
man Nabal. He is just like his name –
his name is Fool, and folly goes with him. . . .’”
I
Samuel 25: 23-25.
“My Abigails
will rise in this hour. They will be
those who know how to speak to the King.
For Abigail knew how to speak to David, the king. Abigails will rise in this hour who know how
to speak to Me. And although they may
have been previously married to foolish things, they shall now be married to
Me.”
“Then David sent word to Abigail, asking her to become
his wife. His servants went to Carmel
and said to Abigail, ‘David has sent us to you to take you to become his
wife.’ She bowed down with her face to
the ground and said, ‘Here is your maidservant, ready to serve you and wash the
feet of my master’s servants.’ Abigail
quickly got on a donkey and, attended by her five maids, went with David’s
messengers and became his wife.”
I
Samuel 25: 39-42.
This will be a year where it will be important to know how to
properly speak to and interact with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus
Christ.
III. A
YEAR WHERE THOSE WHO PREVIOUSLY STUTTERED AND STAMMERED WILL NOW SPEAK AND LEAD–
“Moses said to the Lord, ‘O Lord, I have never been
eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.’ The Lord said to him, ‘Who gave man his mouth?
Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach
you what to say.’”
Exodus
4: 10-12.
I heard the Lord
say that “those who previously stuttered, or could not speak, will now speak
and lead.” Just like Moses, they will
speak and lead. The Lord in this hour
is not looking for the eloquent, but for the faithful. He is also looking for a company of people
that will be true to Him, who will say, what He says to say, and do what He
says to do, when He says to say it, and do it when He says to do it. You may feel unqualified by man’s standards,
but in God’s eyes you may be highly qualified.
Always remember, that God’s qualifications and man’s are not necessarily
one and the same.
IV. A YEAR OF RECOMPENSE, RESTORATION, AND
RESTITUTION
“Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had
restored to life, ‘Go away with your family and stay for a while wherever you
can, because the Lord has decreed a famine in the land that will last seven
years.’ The woman proceeded to do as the
man of God said. She and her family went
away and stayed in the land of the Philistines seven years. At the end of the seven years she came back
from the land of the Philistines and went to the king to beg for her house and
land. The king was talking to Gehazi,
the servant of the man of God, and had said, ‘Tell me about all the great
things Elisha has done.’ Just as Gehazi
was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose
son Elisha had brought back to life came to beg the king for her house and
land Gehazi said, ‘This is the woman, my
lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.’ The king
asked the woman about it, and she told him.
Then he assigned an official to her case and said to him, ‘Give back
everything that belonged to her, including all the income from her land from
the day she left the country until now.’.”
II
Kings 8: 1-6.
I heard the Lord
say, that “those that have had things taken away from them will be
restored. For restitution will need to
be made.” The Lord will require that
restitution be made to them, just as the king required that restitution be made
to the Shunnamite woman. I note also
that the Shunnamite woman was given full remedy. Things were not just partially restored to
her, but full restoration and restitution was made to her. Similarly, this is a year of full restoration
and restitution in the Body of Christ for those who have been faithful to Him.
V. A YEAR IN WHICH HIS BRIDE WILL PLEASE HIM
MORE THAN ANY OTHER.
“And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given to her to take
with her from the harem to the king’s palace.
In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another
part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who was in charge
of the concubines. She would not return
to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name. When the turn came for Esther(the girl Mordecai
had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked
for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch was in charge of the
harem, suggested. And Esther won the
favor of everyone who saw her. She was
taken to King Xertes in the royal residence in the tenth month, the month of
Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other
women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other
virgins. So he set a royal crown on her
head and made her queen instead of Vashti. “
Esther
2:13-17.
“This is a year,
says the Lord, where My Bride will please Me more than any other. She will have eyes and ears only for Me. This is also a year where you will begin to see
a division between the Bride and the Church.”
VI. A YEAR OF THE KING AND HIS COURT–
“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a
scepter of justice will be the scepter of your
kingdom.”
Psalm
45: 6.
While praying, I
had a vision where I saw the Lord Jesus dressed in his royal robes. He was dressed in pure white. I also saw royal blue and purple velvet robes
over the white. His robes were long and
flowing. I was awestruck by His royalty. I saw Him walking through a great hall. A crown was on his head, not the crown of
thorns, but a beautiful gold crown. His crown
glistened. He had something in his
hand. It looked like a piece of
parchment. He nailed it to the wall. Although I did not see exactly what was
written on the paper, I knew in my spirit that it was a paper informing Heaven
and those on earth that His Court would be convening. He then said, “I will come a courting in
2014. I will hold Court. Tell My People, that I will hear their
petitions, that they are to bring forth their petitions to Me. For others, I have heard their prayers and petitions,
and I will render justice. I will
render justice in this hour.” This then
is truly a year of the King and His Court.
For Jesus is coming to court His Bride, and He is also coming to convene
His Court in this hour.
VII. A YEAR OF THE RISE OF FEARLESS WOMEN–
“But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer
and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the
ground, and he died. Barak came by in
pursuit of Sisera, and Jael went out to meet him, ‘Come,’ she said, ‘I will
show you the man you’re looking for.’ So
he went in with her, and there lay Sisera with the tent peg through his temple –
dead.”
Judges
4: 21-22.
“This is a year of
the rising of My fearless women. My
women will do what some of My men cannot do.
There are also women who will receive strong anointings in the Spirit
this year. In some cases, they were not
my first choice. But to those who prove themselves
faithful and obedient to Me, shall receive.
Let My fearless women arise in this hour.”
VIII. A YEAR OF GREATER DISCERNMENT–
“’For false Christs and false prophets will appear and
perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were
possible. See, I have told you ahead of
time.’”
Matthew
24:24-25.
“Test everything.
Hold on to the good. Avoid every
kind of evil.”
I Thessalonians
5: 21-22.
As I was
praying, I felt the Lord’s deep concern over many of His children not properly
discerning between what is false and what is true, what is genuine and what is
not. The Lord is looking this year for greater discernment within His Body. And He will give greater discernment to His
children this year. We need only to
ask. And we should ask daily. I felt
also his deep, longing desire that His children come to Him and cultivate such
an intimate relationship and fellowship with Him that they will have such a
relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit that they will know, and know
that they know, what is true from what is false, and what is genuine and from
the Lord and what is not. And no one,
including any false prophet, will be able to deceive them.
IX. A YEAR OF CATAPAULT OVER THE FORCES OF
DARKNESS –
“When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord
caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords.”
Judges
7:22.
The Lord in this
hour is raising up a great army like that of Gideon’s three hundred men. This army will be under the direction and
control of the Lord and will prevail over the forces of darkness. The Lord in this hour is releasing strategies
in the Spirit and of the Spirit to defeat the enemy, who has already been vanquished
at the cross, and greater understanding of the weapons of our warfare and their
utilization.
X. A YEAR OF THE KINGDOM–
“Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the
kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The kingdom of God does not come
with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it
is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.’”
Luke
17: 20-21.
This will be a
year when many will realize that the Kingdom of God lives within them. They will begin to understand the true
meaning of the Kingdom. They will begin
to become “Kingdom –minded.” This will
also be a year where we will see things from the Father’s point of view and not
our own.
XI. A YEAR IN WHICH BLOODLINES WILL BE CLEANSED–
“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing
love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from
my sin.”
Psalm
51:1-2.
I felt the Lord
say that this would be a year “in which bloodlines would be cleansed. The cleansing of bloodlines will be done by My
Holy Spirit. Generational iniquities and
generational curses will be broken.
Generational blessings will be restored.” Please pray and ask the Lord to cleanse your
bloodline. Ask Him if there are any areas
regarding your bloodline that you need to repent. The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you
in this area. He is eager to do this holy
work.
XII. A YEAR IN WHICH CHRISTIANS WILL BEGIN TO ASSERT
THEIR RIGHTS –
I felt the Lord
say that this would be a year where Christians would begin to assert their rights
and to have a voice. I believe that many
in the days ahead will be called to make a stand for Christ. I am not sure when or how this will take
place, but I believe the Lord is preparing many now to do what they will need
to do for Him in the coming days.
There are other
things also that the Lord has showed to me.
Some I am led to mention here; others I am led to keep in personal intercessory
prayer until the Lord releases me to share them. I saw riots in the streets of major cities in
America. These riots were over food and
the denial of human services and subsidies by the government. Many governments all over the earth will
become unstable. I saw demonstrations in
many nations and altercations between the police of those nations and the
demonstrators. I saw an increase in
demonic activity in the world, but also a corresponding increase in the power
and authority of Christians for breakthrough and deliverance. I felt the Lord say that this is not a time
to fear or to have fear, but “to know Him, love Him, honor Him, obey Him, and
serve Him, fully and completely.” He
will do the rest. It is not a time to
trust in the world systems or world governments, but instead to trust totally
in Him. He has promised to never leave
us or forsake us. He will be with us. I wish all reading this a truly blessed New
Year in Him.
